Brett Butler: Answering Catcalls

I yell back at construction workers now. I don't care. 'Cause when you're a young woman in this city of all cities, when they say those creative and lascivious things when you walk by, you're filled with youthful indignation. You're like, 'Stop it. This is not for you. God, how third world.' You walk off. But when you get to be my age, and they yell stuff, then you're so grateful, you're beside yourself. You're like, 'What? Thank you. You want to do what with me in that wheelbarrow? You want me to be the wheelbarrow? OK, I got a minute.'
